Our local organizing unit is growing! But like a hungry bear, we need more. The need is great. Further into this newsbrief you will find things you can do to make a difference. Please consider attending a DFL46 event or meeting. Our upcoming May 15 meeting will have Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty as a guest speaker. Details below. Our resistance movement continues to grow. The need is great to have people join demonstrations & picket lines. A critical mass of 165,000 turnout is needed in Minnesota to send a message of needed change. In particular, our MAGA republican representatives need to know the minority don’t rule and the majority don’t approve of Tyrant Trump’s morally corrupt leadership. Let’s root out the rot.
Not all is gloomy. Included is an update (courtesy of Rep. Kraft’s newsletter) of what’s been passed so far. Unless a special session is called, Minnesota legislative session is scheduled to close May 22. And look at these visions of hope!
