Why is Volunteering Important?

Volunteers are critical to supporting our candidates and educating our community on critical issues. Our committed volunteers assist with facilitating our caucus & convention, events & programs, providing community outreach, campaigning for our candidates, and much more!. Volunteers can make a 2-year commitment to leadership roles or minimum one-time events such as walking in a parade or baking cookies for our annual bake sale.

Volunteering with DFL46 is a great way to support our local organizing unit, cultivate relationships with like-minded citizens, and build knoweledge of the policial process. All volunteers must complete DFL training. This training is provided at no cost to you and will equip you with the skills to be a successful grassroots political organizer!
